The Planning and Development Unit's Tasks:


1. Preparing and developing the strategic plan and action plan for university-community relations.
2. Monitoring and implementing best practices in community outreach and learning from the experiences of others.
3. Implementing and controlling quality in the administration and disseminating a culture of quality among its employees.
4. Developing appropriate interim plans for the periodic review of approved quality standards to ensure continuous improvement and development in the performance of the administration's administrative units.
5. Establishing a mechanism for measuring the level of satisfaction of beneficiaries of the administration's services (internal and external).
6. Listing and documenting all activities of university units, faculty members, staff, and students in community outreach and community service.
7. Preparing periodic and annual reports on the efforts of university units and the administration in serving the community.
8. Developing a quarterly community action plan and the administration's own initiatives to build bridges of communication between the university and the community.
Identifying community needs and working to meet them within the annual administration plan, in coordination with the relevant colleges and departments at the university.
